Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands
Salary: £50,000
Shift: Monday to Friday alternating shifts 06:30 to 15:30 or 09:30 to 18:30

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
- Carry out servicing maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently using diagnostic tools and technical data
- Complete work in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and safety standards
- Record work clearly and communicate status updates to the workshop team and supervisors
- Follow workshop processes procedures and health and safety rules at all times
- Suggest improvements to processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Attend training and development to maintain and improve technical skills
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician
Essential
- HGV Technician with proven experience in commercial vehicle repair and maintenance
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
Desirable
- HGV driving licence advantageous but not essential
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics and fault finding on modern commercial vehicles
- Previous experience working in a busy workshop environment
