Service Advisor

Location: Oxford

Salary: £28,050 per year | OTE up to £31,000

Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00 | Every other Saturday 08:00-12:00

Tru Talent is recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor / Automotive Service Advisor / Customer Service Advisor to join a leading commercial vehicle dealership in Oxford.

The Role

As a Service Advisor, you will:

• Welcome customers and deliver exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Book vehicles into the workshop and schedule work efficiently
• Keep customers updated on the progress of repairs and servicing
• Produce accurate job cards, estimates, invoices and workshop documentation
• Liaise with technicians and the parts department to ensure work is completed on time
• Identify additional service and repair opportunities where appropriate
• Process warranty claims in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Ensure the workshop diary is maintained to maximise efficiency

The Requirements

To be considered for this Service Advisor role, you will need:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor is desirable but not essential
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Previous administration or office-based experience
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A confident and professional approach
• Experience within the motor trade is advantageous
