Days: Monday–Friday | 06:00–14:30 | £16.81 per hour
Lates: Monday–Friday | 14:00–22:00 | £16.81 per hour + £21.20 shift allowance
Nights: Tuesday–Friday | 21:00–07:00 | £19.32 per hour + £18.75 shift allowance

Tru Talent is recruiting an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Trailer Technician to join an award-winning commercial vehicle dealership in Swindon.

The Role of the HGV Technician:
- Service, maintain and repair HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete inspections and preventative maintenance
- Carry out repairs to DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Assist with breakdown repairs when required
- Complete job cards, warranty claims and workshop paperwork
- Maintain a safe and professional workshop environment
The Requirements
Essential:
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Trailer Technician experience
- Experience with servicing, repairs and diagnostics
- Knowledge of DVSA standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Desirable:
- IRTEC accreditation
