The Role:
We are working with a well-established and growing property remediation company looking for a driven and knowledgeable Sales Representative & Damp Surveyor to join their team covering Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in damp, remediation or property surveying who has the technical ability to assess properties, confidently present findings to homeowners and help provide the right solutions.
You will be responsible for carrying out professional damp and remediation surveys, producing accurate reports and working with customers to recommend the best course of action. This role would suit someone who combines technical knowledge with excellent communication skills and has the confidence to build trust and convert opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Representative & Damp Surveyor:
- Carry out detailed damp and remediation surveys at residential properties
- Identify issues, defects and recommend appropriate solutions
- Present survey findings clearly and professionally to homeowners
- Provide accurate quotations and explain proposed works
- Confidently handle customer questions and objections
- Close opportunities where appropriate and secure new business
- Accurately complete reports, surveys, photographs and quotes using company systems
- Maintain excellent customer service throughout the process
- Work closely with the office team to ensure smooth project delivery
Experience of the Sales Representative & Damp Surveyor:
- Previous experience within damp, remediation, property surveying or a related field
- Strong knowledge of residential properties and building defects
- A confident communicator who can build rapport and trust with customers
- Comfortable presenting recommendations and discussing costs
- Sales-focused with the ability to identify opportunities and close effectively
- Self-motivated, reliable and professional approach
- Comfortable using company systems and technology
- Full UK driving licence essential
