Are you an experienced PDI Technician, Vehicle Preparation Technician, or Vehicle Technician looking for your next opportunity in Westbury?

We are recruiting for a PDI Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Preparation Technician, Vehicle Technician, or semi-skilled technician looking to develop their career within a modern workshop offering ongoing manufacturer training and genuine career progression.

As a PDI Technician, you will prepare new commercial vehicles for customer handover, ensuring every vehicle meets the highest standards of quality, safety and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new commercial vehicles
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery
• Install customer-specified accessories and aftermarket equipment
• Complete quality inspections and final vehicle checks
• Identify and report any defects before vehicle handover
• Complete all workshop documentation accurately
• Work safely while maintaining a clean and organised workshop

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Good attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Previous experience as a PDI Technician, Vehicle Preparation Technician, or Vehicle Technician
• Experience working within a dealership or commercial vehicle environment
• Semi-skilled technicians and improvers are encouraged to apply
