What You Will Be Doing
As an HGV Technician Supervisor / Senior HGV Technician you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out hands-on servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Supervising and supporting the late shift workshop team as an experienced HGV Technician Supervisor
- Assisting team members with fault diagnosis and technical problem solving
- Ensuring workshop standards, documentation and compliance are maintained throughout the shift
- Acting as the first point of contact for technical queries and escalations on the late shift
- Supporting the development and performance of junior technicians as a Senior HGV Technician

What You Will Need
To be considered as an HGV Technician Supervisor, Senior HGV Technician or HGV Workshop Supervisor you will need:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician Supervisor, Senior HGV Technician or experienced HGV Technician within a commercial vehicle environment
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
- Confidence to lead, support and motivate a workshop team
- Full UK driving licence
