HGV Technician 
Location: Warwickshire
Pay: £45,000 +
Hours: Monday–Friday 06:00 – 14:00 and 13:30 – 22:00. Saturday’s paid at overtime rate
Job Type: Full time, permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician to join a busy workshop in Erith. This HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician role offers strong earnings, regular overtime and a stable weekday shift pattern. As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician, you will carry out diagnostics, repairs, servicing and inspections on HGVs and trailers while accessing ongoing manufacturer approved training.

The Role:
• Carry out major and minor repairs on HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles
• Complete servicing, inspections and planned maintenance
• Support breakdown repairs when required
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Keep the workshop safe, clean and well organised

The Requirements:
• Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
• Experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician
• Ability to identify worn or faulty components to DVSA standards
• Full UK driving licence
• Diagnostics and electrical experience desirable
