Salary: Up to £17.90 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 to 45 hours per week

Are you an experienced Welder, MIG Welder, TIG Welder, or Fabricator Welder looking for your next opportunity in Trafford Park, Manchester?

We are recruiting for a skilled Welder to join a growing manufacturing team producing high quality vehicle assemblies. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MIG Welder, TIG Welder, or Fabricator Welder to work on bespoke fabrication projects where attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are valued.

Working within a modern workshop, you'll manufacture and weld components to the highest standards while contributing to the production of specialist vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
• Measure, cut, fabricate, and finish welded components to a high standard
• Produce high quality visible welds with excellent attention to detail
• Operate grinders, band saws, circular saws, and other workshop equipment
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
• Keep workstations clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures
• Support and assist other team members when required
• Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards
• Follow company quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures at all times

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Previous experience as a Welder, MIG Welder, TIG Welder, or Fabricator Welder
• Strong MIG and TIG welding experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work accurately
• Excellent attention to detail
• Own tools
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently

Desirable

• Coded Welder qualification
• Experience within vehicle manufacturing or fabrication
• Knowledge of stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel fabrication
