Location: Heathrow / West London
Salary: £17.00–£21.00 per hour DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Overtime: Available at 1.5x

About the Role

Tru Talent is recruiting an experienced Van Technician / LCV Technician to join an established dealership in Heathrow.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician to carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on light commercial vehicles, helping keep customers' vehicles safe, compliant and on the road.

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair vans, LCVs, trailers and other vehicles
• Carry out diagnostics, inspections and preventative maintenance
• Identify faults and worn components to DVSA standards
• Complete repairs and assist with roadside breakdowns when required
• Complete accurate job cards, paperwork and warranty claims
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
• Escalate technical or warranty issues where required

Requirements

Essential:

• Level 3 qualification in LCV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance, NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI equivalent
• Previous Van Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician experience
• Experience in servicing, repairs and diagnostics
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Full UK driving licence with relevant vehicle categories
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
