We are looking for a skilled Trailer Technician / HGV Trailer Mechanic to join a busy fleet workshop in Nuneaton. This is a hands-on, permanent role where you’ll carry out inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on trailers, ensuring all vehicles are safe, compliant, and roadworthy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on trailers
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Work closely with a supportive technical team
- Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation
- Ensure trailers meet safety and roadworthiness standards
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Mechanical experience on trailers, HGVs, or similar vehicles
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Previous experience as a Trailer Technician or Mobile Trailer Mechanic
- Knowledge of trailer braking systems, suspension, and axles
- Customer-facing experience
