About the Role

Our client has over 40 years’ experience in selling and servicing smart vehicles and prides itself on being an expert in this iconic brand.

They are currently looking for a Showroom Host to join their team and provide a warm, professional welcome to customers visiting the showroom in Salisbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent customer service skills and takes pride in creating a welcoming and professional environment.

As a Showroom Host, your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting customers and visitors warmly and professionally.
• Offering refreshments where appropriate and notifying the relevant team members of customer arrivals.
• Escorting customers to the Service or Parts departments and locating Sales Executives when required.
• Taking customer details and providing brochures and relevant information.
• Developing knowledge of the full range of smart passenger cars, products and services.
• Maintaining the showroom and customer areas to an immaculate standard and reporting any maintenance issues to your Line Manager.
• Supporting promotions, events and other activities as required by the Marketing Department.
• Supporting the Sales Team and building positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Ensuring all walk-in sales enquiries are accurately recorded on the dealer management system.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the customer environment.
• Sanitising customer waiting area tables and screens after each customer.
• Cleaning and sanitising all surfaces within the refreshment area hourly.
• Cleaning and sanitising the washrooms hourly.

• Previous experience working in a customer-facing retail or hospitality environment.
• A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
• The ability to maintain high standards and attention to detail.
• Confidence in interacting with customers and supporting a busy showroom environment.
