Manufacturing QHSE & Technical Compliance Manager / QHSE Manager / SHEQ Manager / Quality & Compliance Manager – Trafford Park
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Hours: Monday–Friday
Pay: Up to £50,000 per year DOE
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing QHSE & Technical Compliance Manager / QHSE Manager / SHEQ Manager / Quality & Compliance Manager to lead quality, health & safety, and compliance across a busy manufacturing operation. This QHSE Manager / SHEQ Manager / Quality & Compliance Manager role will see you owning the QMS, embedding quality across fabrication, welding, assembly and PDI processes, and ensuring compliance with Type Approval (IVA, VCA, DVSA) and ISO standards while driving continuous improvement.

The Role:
• Manage, maintain & improve the QMS
• Lead internal audits, NCRs, CAPA, SOPs & KPIs
• Ensure compliance with IVA, VCA & DVSA frameworks
• Lead HSE compliance including COSHH, PUWER & LOLER
• Deliver QHSE training, inductions & toolbox talks
• Monitor supplier quality & incoming inspections
• Drive CI across production (5S, lean, visual management)
• Liaise with regulators, customers & suppliers
The Requirements:
• Background as a QHSE Manager / SHEQ Manager / Technical Compliance Manager
• Strong ISO 9001 knowledge (ISO 14001/45001 desirable)
• Understanding of Type Approval processes
• Practical HSE experience (COSHH, PUWER, LOLER)
• Strong communication & leadership skills
• Lead Auditor, NEBOSH & engineering background desirable
