Pay: £30.00 per hour | £62,400 per year + Overtime at 1.5x

Hours: Fixed Night Shift | Tuesday to Friday | 19:30–06:00 | 40 Hours per Week

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician

Are you an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a premium night shift opportunity in West Thurrock?

We are recruiting for experienced HGV Technicians to join a leading commercial vehicle main dealer due to continued growth and increased customer demand.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic to earn £62,400 per year while working a fixed 4-day night shift pattern. You will work on modern commercial vehicles within a professional workshop environment, with access to manufacturer training and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will:

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults using computer-aided diagnostic equipment
• Complete inspections and repairs to manufacturer and DVSA standards
• Maintain accurate job cards and service documentation
• Carry out final checks to ensure quality workmanship
• Support workshop standards and safe working practices

Skills & Experience Required

To be considered for this HGV Technician role, you will need:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Level 3 HGV Technician qualification or equivalent
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience working on heavy vehicles within a workshop environment
• Main dealer experience desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence
