HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
Location: Brentwood
Salary: Up to £52,000 per year + Overtime
Shifts: Monday to Friday only
We're recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional workshop team, maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles. You'll be responsible for keeping vehicles safe, reliable and roadworthy, with access to ongoing training and development.
The Role- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete MOT preparation and inspection work
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer and health and safety standards
- Complete accurate job cards and service documentation
- Work effectively as part of a workshop team
- Respond to call outs when on rota
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Truck Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability
- Good attention to detail and quality focus
- Full UK driving licence
- HGV licence is desirable
- Experience in a dealership or fleet environment
