HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic 

Location: Salisbury
Salary: £45,000 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm plus call outs on rota
Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid lunch plus two 15 minute paid breaks

Are you an experienced HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic looking for a stable Monday to Friday role in Salisbury?

We're recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional workshop team, maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles. You'll be responsible for keeping vehicles safe, reliable and roadworthy, with access to ongoing training and development.

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Complete MOT preparation and inspection work
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and health and safety standards
• Complete accurate job cards and service documentation
• Work effectively as part of a workshop team
• Respond to call outs when on rota

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Truck Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability
• Good attention to detail and quality focus
• Full UK driving licence
• HGV licence is desirable
• Experience in a dealership or fleet environment
