What You Will Be Doing

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter you will be responsible for:

• Providing diagnostic and technical diagnosis and accurately specifying repair solutions
• Specifying repair solutions to facilitate the production of quotes and works orders as an experienced HGV Mechanic
• Identifying and specifying defects and minor defects found during service or planned work
• Ensuring time recording procedures are complied with including correct use of codes
• Ensuring timely handover of completed and fully specified jobs for invoicing
• Carrying out effective shift handovers including outstanding repair orders and customer issues

• Rotating shift — up to £22.00 per hour (£45,760) | Overtime at £33.00 per hour

What You Will Need

To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician you will need:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter within a commercial vehicle environment
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
• Ability to specify accurate repair solutions to a high standard
• Full UK driving licence
