Technician Supervisor / Workshop Supervisor / HGV Technician

Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking to take the next step into a leadership role? Or are you already working as a Technician Supervisor or Workshop Supervisor looking for a new challenge?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern commercial vehicle workshop in Kidderminster, leading the late shift team while remaining hands-on with servicing, diagnostics and repairs. Offering an OTE of up to £57,000, manufacturer training and genuine career progression, this role is ideal for an experienced technician ready to develop their leadership career.

The Role

As a Technician Supervisor / Workshop Supervisor, you will:

• Lead and support the late shift workshop team
• Allocate work alongside the Workshop Controller
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Ensure all work meets DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Complete workshop documentation using Keyloop/Kerridge
• Mentor and support technicians and apprentices
• Maintain a safe, productive and well-organised workshop

Requirements

To be considered you will need:

• Level 3 NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Experience leading, mentoring or supervising technicians is desirable
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
