We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join a dynamic and growing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with business leaders, driving financial performance, and leading a high-performing finance team.

As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's strategic objectives by delivering accurate financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide valuable commercial insight, ensure robust financial controls are maintained, and help drive continuous improvement across the finance function.

This is a leadership position where you will be responsible for managing and developing a finance team while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with company policies and financial standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of finance professionals, providing ongoing support, mentoring and performance management.
  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations and financial records.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly profit and loss accounts, identifying trends and explaining variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Produce accurate budgets, forecasts and financial plans to support business objectives.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to understand financial performance and provide commercial recommendations.
  • Support strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting.
  • Coordinate financial reporting requirements for both internal stakeholders and corporate teams.
  • Support pricing proposals and financial modelling for new and existing business opportunities.
  • Ensure effective financial controls, governance and compliance across all financial processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, operational efficiency and reporting processes.
  • Manage departmental resources and contribute to achieving business performance targets.
What we're looking for within the Finance Manager:
  • Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong commercial awareness.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and present meaningful insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience reviewing financial statements, journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
