About the Role of the Fibreglasser:

We are recruiting an experienced Fibreglasser / GRP Finisher / GRP Laminator / Composite Technician to join a specialist manufacturing team in Trafford Park, producing high-quality commercial vehicle conversions.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in fibreglass, GRP laminating or composite materials to work on bespoke vehicle builds within a modern workshop environment.

The Role

• Prepare commercial vehicles for GRP laminating using grinders and sanding equipment
• Cut fibreglass matting and prepare materials
• Mix resins and carry out wet lay GRP laminating
• Apply fibreglass to vehicle interiors to a high standard
• Inspect completed work and ensure quality standards are met
• Follow health & safety and company procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop
• Work efficiently as part of a manufacturing team

Requirements

Essential:

• Previous Fibreglasser, GRP Finisher, GRP Laminator or Composite Technician experience
• Experience with wet lay fibreglass and resin application
• Good understanding of manufacturing or production processes
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to quality workmanship

Desirable:

• Experience in vehicle conversions, coachbuilding or commercial vehicle manufacturing
• Experience working with commercial vans or specialist vehicle builds
