Salary: £38,000 basic + overtime at 1.5x
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shifts: Rotating early and late shifts

About the Role

Are you an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician with HGV or LCV experience looking for a permanent opportunity with excellent overtime availability paid at 1.5x?

Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop in Gloucester, working across a range of HGV and LCV vehicles.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technician looking for a stable Monday to Friday role, with opportunities for overtime, manufacturer training and career progression.

The Role

As a Commercial Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGV and LCV vehicles.
• Carrying out major and minor mechanical repairs.
• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults.
• Completing preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections.
• Carrying out roadside repairs when required.
• Completing warranty work and ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up to date.
• Identifying worn, damaged and faulty components in line with DVSA standards.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of safety and workmanship.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in HGV/LCV Vehicle Maintenance.
• Previous experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or LCV Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A reliable, professional and quality-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team.
